THIS IS WHAT THE DEMOCRATS, LIBERALS AND "GREENS" SHOW YOU WHEN THEY TALK ABOUT ANWR

… and they are right… these ARE photographs of the beauty of ANWR

WHY SHOULD WE DRILL HERE (AND DESTROY) THIS BEAUTIFUL PLACE?

WE WON’T ... BECAUSE THERE IS NO OIL THERE!

Remember the map?

The map showed that the proposed drilling area is in the ANWR Coastal Plain?

 Do those photographs look like a coastal plain?

THIS IS WHAT THE PROPOSED EXPLORATION AREA ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE IN THE WINTER

AND THIS IS WHAT IT ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE IN THE SUMMER

NEXT IS A SCREEN SHOT FROM GOOGLE EARTH

AS YOU CAN SEE, THE AREA WHERE THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT DRILLING IS A BARREN WASTELAND. OH… AND THEY SAY THAT THEY ARE CONCERNED ABOUT THE EFFECT ON THE LOCAL WILDLIFE… Remember how they told you the Alaskan Pipeline was going to cause the Caribou to become extinct?!?!?!

HERE IS A PHOTO (SHOT DURING THE SUMMER) OF THE "DEPLETED WILDLIFE" SITUATION CREATED BY DRILLING AROUND PRUDHOE BAY *… As you can see all the Caribou have been trapped by that monster oil well!!!

HERE'S THAT SAME SPOT DURING THE WINTER.

That evil oil company must have slaughtered them and ate the poor dears!

Well there ya go; another species gone extinct at the hands of man!

THIS BEAR SEEMS TO REALLY HATE THE PIPELINE NEAR PRUDHOE BAY ??? The pipeline actually makes travel for this bear easier because trying to walk across the muck below the pipeline is harder! (That’s why he’s up there; no he is not a trained oil bear inspecting the line for leaks!) Bears live off of fat stores over the winter, less effort, fewer calories burned; HEY “Pipelines SAVE BEARS!!!!”

NOW, WHY DO YOU THINK THAT THE DEMOCRATS ARE FIGHTING AGAINST DRILLING IN ANWR?

They cannot afford to lose their core campaign contributors; so they will stubbornly stand in the way of common sense, at the cost of, and including the possible collapse of the United States of America! What will happen when truckers can’t afford to buy fuel to deliver your groceries, Airlines get grounded; Farmers can’t afford to plant; etc. October 29th 1929 is going to look like a Sunday picnic!

NOW THAT YOU KNOW WHAT THE LIBERALS HAVE BEEN DOING, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?

YOU CAN START BY TELLING EVERYONE YOU KNOW TO LOOK HERE FIRST!

… SO THAT THEY WILL KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT ANWR.

As I said earlier, I did not write or compile the above, but it sure makes sense to me. Looks like we could just move the oil down the already functioning Alaska Pipeline. Also, as of this writing, July 11, 2008, the Congress still will not give the President the time of day much less approve more oil for domestic resources. Looks like six more months of stonewalling at the expense of the average working American.
